recipes and BILLS

i keep getting requests for more recipes...now its not that i dont want to or wont its just that i dont know what all of you like...part of my fun is the variety of things i can make but as much as i love pizza i dont eat it every day and wouldnt presume to think you like exactly what i like...when i was married i was cook usually in the weekdays and im sure the garlic smashed garlics were just too much for the ex...but the sausage, cinnamon and apples was tremendous but certainly not duplicate-able since i really had little idea of what i did to make it...so find a basic recipe and EXPERIMENT...it could go horribly wrong but so what..try it again..or another one...when i was young and single living with roommates the food was a refrigerator leftover concoction with eggs and potatoes and cheese and...whatever..one roommate loved it and asked what i called it...hunh?....i need to name it?...so aBILL came about..never was a BILL the same though...and ive always thought it never should be...now i must beat my bakers daily about consistency but at home...something about consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds...whatever THAT might mean

roller coaster....

life is.......sometimes the ride is going up sometimes down but occasionally we get one of those wild nearly out of control good then bad then terrifying jaunts...teenagers allow us parents to live that ride daily...rarely a peaceful evening or event...but they sure do leave us with some stories...my son screaming at me as i am paying HIS college tuition???....my fault because i had woken him up...it was 2:30 in the afternoon...he told me i had to pay that day for college by credit card online...i said...naa dont think so...he SWORE the ONLY way was if i paid today and online..."college is different then when you went"....i said im guessing they will STILL take cash...he said "no you dont understand...YOU werent there!"so i called admissions and they said see the burser and we love cash...done deal took me a good two minute phone conversation to solve it...my son the iphone and tech expert couldnt seem to figure how to get in touch without doing it online...i think maybe our kids are losing the personal touches and we are lagging in the technological fronts...also another early incident might have given me a clue...as we were driving in i said...the college used to have barracks for classrooms(i swear)...he said ...oh it is totally different now it is really nice...then he says....if they had dorms i would go to school here???...i said...YOU ARE GOING TO SCHOOL HERE!!!...i dont think he understood...or maybe i didnt...im so confused...or he is...is the ride almost over?...are we there yet?
